In collaboration with the Institute for Information Systems and Networking (ISIN) at SUPSI, we conducted a study to assess the feasibility and development effort required to build a Mixed Reality (MR) educational platform with customised input methods and an accessible user interface.
Through a comprehensive analysis of the state of the art in both literature and the market, we identified several studies on eye tracking technologies, best practices for user interface design, eye tracking and Extended Reality (XR) applications in clinical and educational contexts, as well as accessibility and inclusivity in immersive technologies.
All hardware currently on the market was examined and classified according to its characteristics.
The study was sponsored by Inno Suisse (Swiss agency for the promotion of innovation).
